The Kern County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite the community to attend National Night Out on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
The event is free, with lots of fun activities for the public to enjoy. Children are encouraged to wear costumes.
You can expect all the KCSO specialized units to be out with booths or hands-on activities, such as SWAT, Bomb Squad, Search and Rescue teams, K-9 units, Crisis Negotiations Unit, and more.
There will be a tour of our Air Support Unit to learn about the helicopters and airplanes, along with the popular K-9 demonstration for the public.
There will also be a free raffle with great prizes, including a bike!
There will be no public parking at our location at 1350 Norris Road. There is public parking available at our neighboring facilities at 962 Norris Road., and just west of us at 1400 Norris Road.
Masks are encouraged, but not required, per California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines.
