On Saturday, October 9, from approximately 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Under the Oaks Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K races will take place on Jekyll Island.
The race will not close any roads, but during the race, runners will be sharing the multi-use paths and portions of the roadways along the following roads:
- Riverview Dr.
- Beachview Dr.
- Stable Rd.
- Shell Rd.
- Harbor Rd.
Motorists may experience rolling traffic delays around the island. Bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution when sharing the paths with race participants and may also experience momentary delays.
