Single Vehicle Crash
 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 10/10/21 at 1924 hours, his office was called to investigate a motor vehicle crash with injuries that occurred on Dailey Rd. south of Beeson St. in La Grange Township, Cass County, Michigan. 

52 yr. old Nappanee, IN resident, John Freshour, was traveling south on Dailey Rd when his vehicle lost control, left the road, and overturned multiple times striking a pole and a tree. Mr. Freshour was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries. 

Seatbelts were not worn, and speed was a factor. It is unknown if intoxicating substances were a factor.  This case remains under investigation.

Assisting were the Dowagiac Police Department, Pokagon Band Tribal Police Department, Central Cass Fire Department, and Pride Care Ambulance.
