Drug Complaints Lead to Methamphetamine Seizure and Fugitive Arrest

On 10/12/2021, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Apprehension Team and Narcotics Task Force attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation after the vehicle departed from 141 Switzer Drive in Forest City. Once the vehicle came to a stop, the passenger got out of the vehicle and started running away from the scene. Deputies identified him as Walter Ashley Littlejohn, also known as “Plum Crazy”. Littlejohn was wanted by the Department of Corrections for a Parole Violation. Rutherford County K9 Kilo was used to track Mr. Littlejohn. K9 Kilo successfully led deputies to the residence he was hiding inside, 141 Switzer Drive. Mr. Littlejohn was located and subsequently arrested for the Parole Violation.
 
 
On 10/13/2021, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office received a trespassing complaint for 141 Switzer Drive in Forest City. Road Patrol deputies, the Narcotics Task Force and the Criminal Apprehension Team responded to the location to investigate the complaint. The owner of the residence stated that several attempts have been made to get the occupants to vacate the premises due to drug use and other complaints. Upon arrival, deputies located three individuals that had broken into the residence and arrested them for Breaking and Entering and Larceny of Electrical Power. K9 Kilo also played an instrumental role in locating 354.1 grams of Methamphetamine on the same property where the three subjects were arrested. The persons located and arrested for this criminal activity were:
 
Dustin Vernon Lawter: Breaking & Entering, Larceny of Electrical Power, Trafficking Methamphetamine
Alicia Danielle Earley: Breaking & Entering, Larceny of Electrical Power, Possession of Methamphetamine
Brooklyn Denise Carter: Breaking & Entering, Larceny of Electrical power, Possession Of Heroin.
 
Included in this message are images of those arrested, the methamphetamine seized, Corporal Perez and his partner, Kilo.
