The Burr Ridge Police Department received a report of a residential burglary October 12, 2021 at approximately 4:52 pm in the 11400 block of 75^th Street. We are also investigating a similar burglary from September 28, 2021 which occurred in the 11200 block of 73^rd Place.

Video from the area shows a newer black SUV with dark tinted windows (possibly a Chevy Equinox or Traverse) pull into the resident’s driveway. A single male suspect, wearing dark pants, hooded sweatshirt, knit cap, and gloves is seen carrying a bag from the residence. (Pictures attached)

The offenders left in a silver Ford Escape with no front license plate and the rear license plate covered with plastic to obstruct the plate (Pictures attached).

We ask residents to be alert for this vehicle, or any suspicious vehicle/subjects, travelling in the area. If you see this car, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Do not take any action by yourself. 

Please remember to lock your doors, including car doors, and do not keep your keys or key fob inside your car. If you have a house alarm, set it, even if you are only leaving for a short time.
