9:17 AM:  Officer Warren made contact and arrested a 31-year old female in the 34000 block of Ardenwood Blvd for multiple outstanding warrants. She was booked at Fremont Jail.
10:16 AM: Officer Johnson responded to a report of a hit and run vehicle collision in the area of Cedar Blvd and Central Ave. Officer Johnson is still investigating.
12:09 PM: Officer Swadener responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred in the area of Newark Blvd and Jarvis Ave. Loss was a cell phone.
11:20 PM: Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision in the 37000 block of Walnut St. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 46-year old male out of Hayward. The subject was ultimately arrested for driving with a license suspended for DUI and restricted driver using a vehicle without an interlock device. He was cited and released. His vehicle was towed.

1:12 AM: During a routine traffic enforcement stop in the area of Thornton Ave and Oak St, Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 38-year old male out of Hayward for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
1:14 AM: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision into a building in the area of Central Ave and California St. The driver, a 53-year old male out of Newark, was ultimately arrested for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:51 AM: Officer Swadener responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. At approximately 4:33 AM, Officer Swadener located the vehicle unoccupied in the 38000 block of Cherry St.
9:47 PM: Officers responded to investigate a report of a single vehicle collision into a center median in the area of Edgewater Dr and Charmwood Ct. Prior to officer arrival, the vehicle fled. Officers located the vehicle nearby and made contact with a 55-year old male out of Newark. The subject was ultimately arrested for DUI and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:22 AM: Officer Damewood responded to the 35000 block of Newark Blvd to investigate a report of a theft. Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 55-year old male for shoplifting. He was cited and released.

10:37 AM: Officer Rivas made contact and arrested a 45-year old male out of Hayward for a misdemeanor warrant after he self-surrendered in the police station lobby. He was issued a new court date and released.

Thursday, September 30, 2021
3:40 PM: Officer Damewood made contact with a 36-year old female on probation in the 38000 block of Cedar Blvd. The subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant. While conducting a vehicle search, officers discovered live ammunition and a stun gun. Additional charges of possession of a stun gun by a felon and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person were added. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

8:57 AM: Officer Soto conducted a vehicle check in the 7000 block of Thornton Ave. Officer Soto made contact and arrested a 41-year old male out of Union City for an active warrant. The subject was issued a new court date and released.

2:39 AM: Officer Riddles responded to a report of a vehicle collision in the area of Jarvis Ave and Gateway Blvd. The driver fled prior to officer arrival.
12:00 PM: Officers investigated a report of a theft of a home security camera in the area of Peachtree Ave and Thornton Ave. The reporting party, a 59-year old male out of Newark, armed himself with a firearm, and located the subject believed to have stolen the camera and brandished the firearm at the subject. Upon further investigation, the theft was unfounded. The 59-year old reporting party was ultimately arrested for exhibiting a firearm. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

6:19 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a report of a burglary to a vehicle that occurred within the last two hours in the 37000 block of Sycamore St. Loss was credit cards and a laptop.
7:39 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 5000 block of Lafayette Ave.
10:55 AM: Officer Quinonez responded to a report of a subject requesting police assistance in the 5000 block of Abington Dr. Officer Quinonez made contact with a 23-year old female. A records check revealed she had an outstanding warrant. She was ultimately arrested for the outstanding warrant and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
12:50 PM: Officers responded to a report of a theft that occurred in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Upon arrival, officers made contact and arrested a 68-year old male out of East Palo Alto for shoplifting. He was issued a citation and released.
9:21 PM: Officer Norvell investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Loss was a laptop.
9:26 PM: Officer Cervantes investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave. Loss unknown at this time.

5:55 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a report of vehicle stolen overnight in the 7000 block of Braidburn Ave.
8:25 AM: Officer Kapu investigated a report of a vehicle stolen in the 35000 block of Dumbarton Ct. At approximately 4 pm, officers located the vehicle unoccupied in the 5000 block of Central Ave.

8:30 AM: Officer Hernandez investigated a report of a vehicle trailer stolen overnight in the 37000 block of Enterprise Ct.
8:28 AM: Traffic Officer Piquette made contact with a 34-year old male riding a dirt bike without a helmet in the area of Smith Ave and Cedar Blvd. The subject was ultimately arrested for an outstanding warrant and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:29 AM: Officer Hernandez made contact and arrested a 46-year old male out of Union City in the 37000 block of Newark Blvd for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was cited and released.
 
Friday, October 8, 2021
9:37 AM: Officer Johnson responded to an alarm call in the 37000 block of Filbert St. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 36-year old male out of Tracy who was pretending to work on his vehicle. A records check revealed the subject’s vehicle was displaying a stolen license plate.  Officer Johnson ultimately arrested the subject for displaying unlawful vehicle registration, receiving stolen property, possession of burglary tools, possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia and obtaining identity theft information. He was cited and released. The vehicle was towed.
11:55 AM: Officer Arroyo responded to a report of vandalism in the 6000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Upon arrival, Officer Arroyo made contact and arrested a 26-year old male out of Fremont for felony vandalism. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

8:00 AM:  Officer Taylor investigated a report of a vehicle theft that occurred overnight in the 36000 block of Darvon St.
1:00 PM: While preforming a security check, Officer Rivera located two suspicious vehicles parked in the 7000 block of Stevenson Blvd. Officer Rivera made contact and arrested a 31-year old male for possession of burglary tools. He was cited and released.
2:14 PM: Community Service Officer Lau investigated a vehicle theft that occurred overnight in the 37000 block of Magnolia St.
