Please be advised, a film production will be filming at the main Driftwood Beach access tomorrow, Saturday, October 16 in the afternoon. Beachview Drive, near this access, will remain open to thru traffic, but parking spaces will be closed for the day.
The North Loop Trail will also remain open to cyclist thru-traffic.
The public can access Driftwood Beach near Clam Creek Fishing Pier or the beach access nearest Villas by the Sea Resort & Conference Center.
Oceanview Beach Park will have ADA parking and facilities available to the public, but the remaining parking lot will be closed for the day. The beach crossover will also remain open.
The entry gate to enter Jekyll Island may experience heavy traffic during the hours of 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Residents and island employees should plan accordingly.
