John Fischer as well as officers from the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office, Haubstadt, and Owensville Police Department were dispatched to the scene.  Upon arriving on scene Sgt. Fischer opened an investigation into the incident and attempted to speak to all the parties involved.  However, one of the parties had fled the scene prior to his arrival.  Upon gathering statement from one of the parties involved in the disturbance Sgt. Fischer.   After a struggle Mr. Walden fled Sgt. Fischer and ran into a nearby wooded area.  Sgt. Fischer and other units continued to search for the individual for several hours.  Then at 10:30 a.m. Sgt. Fischer located Mr. Walden back inside the initial residence and placed him into custody.  Once in custody Mr. Walden was transported to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office where is being held without bond.  Mr. Walden is being charged with Battery on Law Enforcement, Battery, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
