Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman. The incident was reported Sunday, October 17, 2021, at approximately 9:53 p.m., on the 300 block of North Marianna Avenue in Los Angeles.
East Los Angeles Station deputies responded to a gunshot victim call for service. When they arrived they found a female Hispanic adult victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower torso. She was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.
There’s no suspect information available at this time.
