Location: 400 Block of Cortez Drive
Suspect(s): Hispanic or Asian male adult, approximately 5’07” in height, shoulder length black straight hair, thin build, and no clothing
On October 19th, 2021, at 5:04 PM, Petaluma Police Officers responded to the 400 block of Cortez Drive to a report of an interrupted burglary. The victim reported when she entered her residence, the above-described subject was naked inside her home. The subject immediately fled through the rear sliding glass door into the backyard. The subject forced his way through an adjoining fence and proceeded to exit the backyard through a side gate. A witness last saw the subject running northbound on Cortez Drive towards McKenzie Avenue.
Officers arrived on scene along with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department Helicopter (Henry 1) shortly after the call and checked the surrounding area. Two Petaluma Canine Officers also arrived on scene and assisted in a yard-to-yard search for the subject. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
