SPD investigated a stabbing on Tuesday. The suspect was arrested and the victim is being treated for injuries.

On Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, officers from the Sheboygan Police Department were called to a south side home for a report of a person who was stabbed.  Officers arrived and located a 16-year-old Sheboygan youth who had a non-life-threatening knife wound to his chest.  It was learned that the youth was in a physical fight with his brother and was later stabbed by his brother.  The suspect, a 26-year-old Sheboygan man, was located and arrested short time later.  The suspect has been referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for charges of 1st Degree Reckless Injury.
 
This was not a random incident.  The suspect and victim are siblings.  There is no danger to the public.  The Sheboygan Police Department would like to thank those involved in providing information in this case.
