INCIDENT: Possession for Sale of Narcotics
LOCATION: 5th St. & Yucaipa Boulevard, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Angel Layva, 27-year-old resident of Yucaipa /Elysa Counter-Busey 34-year-old resident of Yucaipa
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Yucaipa Multiple Enforcement Team (MET), San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Gang Team, and San Bernardino County Probation Department served a search warrant at the residence of Angel Leyva and Elysa Counter-Busey.
During the search of the residence significant quantities of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Cocaine were located. In addition to the narcotics, multiple items related to selling narcotics were also located in the residence.
Layva and Counter-Busey were both arrested for possession for sale of narcotics. They were booked into Central Detention Center, awaiting a court appearance.
