Armed Robbery
On October 20, 2021, at approximately 7:40 PM, an armed robbery occurred in the parking lot of the Culver City mall (6000 Sepulveda Blvd., Culver City). The victim was seated in his parked vehicle in the parking lot when a white sedan stopped behind him, preventing the victim from leaving the parking space. Suspect #1 approached the victim’s window and pointed a black handgun as he demanded the victim give him his wallet. Fearful of his safety, the victim provided his wallet to the suspect, who then got back in the front passenger seat of the white sedan and fled east on Slauson Ave.
As the victim followed the white sedan onto the 90 freeway, he observed Suspect #1 leaning out of the passenger window of the sedan, point the handgun at him. The victim then exited the freeway and reported the crime at CCPD. No shots were fired at the victim.
