The 76th annual Mercersburg Halloween Parade will be on Monday evening, November 1, 2021. The Mercersburg Police Department is requesting the public’s cooperation in regard to the temporary parking regulations required for the Mercersburg Halloween Parade.    All residents & businesses are hereby advised of the following temporary “NO PARKING” regulations directed by Roger L. DEFIBAUGH, Mayor of Mercersburg Borough: 
 

1. No Parking on the entire Square after 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021.  This is needed to set up bleachers for the parade.  NOTE: Tickets for seats in the bleachers can be purchased on the evening of the parade from Parade Committee members in the Square. 
2. No Parking on either side of North Main Street from the Square to McKinstry Alley and South Main Street from the Square to the entry to the Orrstown Bank parking lot after 12 noon on Monday, November 1, 2021, so chairs can be set up in the parking spaces. No parking Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for street cleaning. 
   3.  No Parking on either side the entire length of Main Street after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021. No Parking Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for street cleaning.
    
   4.  No Parking on either side of Oregon Street from North Main Street to Church Street after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
    
   5.  No Parking on either side of the entire length of Church Street after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
    
   6.  No Parking on either side of the entire length of Linden Avenue after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.  No Parking Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for street cleaning.
    
   7.  No Parking on either side of the entire length of Constitution Avenue from South Main Street to East Seminary Street after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.
    
   8.  No Parking on either side of East & West Grandview Avenue after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021.  No Parking Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for street cleaning.
    
   9.  No parking on either side of Overhill Drive from Black Road to Beech Lane after 4:00 p.m. on November 1, 2021.
    
   10.  No Parking on either side of Mercer Ave. from South. Main St. to Steiger Ave. after 4:00 p.m. on November 1, 2021.
    
   ANY VEHICLE REMAINING PARKED AT THE SQUARE AFTER 9:00 A.M. ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2021 WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF $25.00 AND BE TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE.
    
   ANY VEHICLE REMAINING PARKED ON ANY OF THE STREETS LISTED ABOVE AFTER 4:00 P.M. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2021 WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FINE OF $25.00 AND TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE.
   If residents or Business owners need to move any traffic cones or barricades placed in the Alleys to egress or access their residence or business, please replace them in their respective positions, after egress or access has been made.
