UPDATE from RBPD & RBFD Power Pole Fire / Lines Down [Vicinity of Pacific Coast Hwy at Prospect Av]. Due to concerns that the electrical pole may fall and take down other adjoining electrical poles, a Shelter in Place order has been issued for all residents and business within the following areas: ** On Pacific Coast Hwy between Palos Verdes Blvd & Robert Rd ** On Prospect Av between Pacific Coast Hwy & Avenue G While the Shelter in Place is in effect, all persons should take shelter and remain in place until further notice. All businesses should be closed in this area as well. An update will be provided when available. Any persons needing to evacuate during this Shelter in Place order may call Redondo Beach Police/Fire Dispatch at 310-379-5411, to request assistance.
