An atmospheric river is forecasted to focus over northwestern California beginning Saturday night through late Sunday night. Periods of moderate to heavy rainfall along with high winds are expected with this system. There are concerns for areas where soils have been saturated from recent rains and burn scar areas.

• 8 to 10 inches of rain are projected to fall
• Low lying areas, creeks, streams, culverts and portions of urban areas may experience flooding due to heavy rainfall

• Stay clear of flooded areas. Adhere to warnings and signs
• Watch for debris on roadways
• Be extra cautious of debris or trees near burn scars
