Driver Arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics
On 10/23/2021 at 8:15 P.M. RPDPS Officers responded to the 1300 block of Golf Course Dr. for a reported single vehicle collision with a tree.  RPDPS Officers and Fire Personnel arrived on scene within two minutes.  Officers located a pickup truck that had left the roadway, struck a tree and damaged an adjacent fence.  The driver, Rohnert Park resident Ryan Terzian, was located standing outside of his vehicle claiming to not be injured.  Officers also noted Terizian was displaying signs and symptoms of being under the influence. 
A DUI investigation was conducted and Terizian was placed under arrest for 23152(f) CVC, Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Terizian is on Sonoma County Probation for DUI and during the investigation narcotics were located in his possession.  The charges of 1203.2 PC, Violation of Probation and 11375(b) (2) HS, Possession of a Controlled Substance were added. Terizian was transported to a local hospital for a medical clearance then booked into the Sonoma County Jail. All property owners related to the damaged property were notified.
