Flood Advisory until 12:45PM 
The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a
* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Northwestern Lake County in central California... Mendocino County in northwestern California...
* Until 1245 PM PDT.
* At 824 AM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Willits, Point Arena, Laytonville, Ukiah Municipal Airport, Covelo, Albion, Potter Valley, Philo, Boonville, Rockport, Leggett, Hopland, Gualala, Comptche, Dos Rios, Branscomb, Redwood Valley and Calpella. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LAKE, CA ... MENDOCINO, CA
Instructions:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Runoff will be increased in burn areas and small streams may be more likely to flood. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
