Flood Advisory until 02:15PM
The National Weather Service in Eureka has extended the
* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for... Northwestern Lake County in central California... Mendocino County in northwestern California...
* Until 215 PM PDT.
* At 1244 PM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated moderate to locally heavy rain continuing, with quarter to locally half-inch per hour rates. This will likely result in some minor urban and small stream flooding. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen already.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ukiah, Willits, Point Arena, Ukiah Municipal Airport, Albion, Potter Valley, Philo, Boonville, Hopland, Gualala, Redwood Valley, Calpella, Talmage, Navarro, Comptche, Yorkville and Manchester. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
* AFFECTED AREAS: LAKE, CA ... MENDOCINO, CA

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay cautious near recently burned areas, where local mudslides will be possible. The heavy rains may trigger rockslides and rockfall in areas steep terrain. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
