The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern McLean County in central Illinois... Southeastern Tazewell County in central Illinois... Southeastern Woodford County in central Illinois...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. The expected rainfall rate is up to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Bloomington, Normal, Morton, El Paso, Tremont, Lexington, Mackinaw, Hudson, Chenoa, Delavan, Gridley, Minier, Danvers, South Pekin, Hopedale, Goodfield, Green Valley, Deer Creek, Stanford and Carlock.
