Advisory

Gov. Murphy declared "State of Emergency" in preparation of the expected Nor'easter Storm

Cranbury OEM is monitoring this weather event.  Patrols will be monitoring problem flood areas throughout the next couple of days.  The storm is expected to start this evening and continue until Wednesday.

 A coastal storm will bring multiple impacts to the region starting into mid week.
 Heavy rain with totals of 2 to 4 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible. The heaviest rainfall is expected in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
 Severe thunderstorms with locally damaging winds are possible tonight.
 Minor coastal flooding is possible with the high tides from Tuesday into Wednesday night.
 Hazardous conditions are expected on the coastal waters and Delaware Bay with building seas and gale force winds.
 The potential for heavy rain has increased. The possibility of gale force winds on the coastal waters is also high. However, there remains more uncertainty about the threat of damaging wind gusts and minor tidal flooding.

Be Safe,

Michael Owens
Chief of Police / OEM Coordinator
