NJ ISSUES STATE OF EMERGENCY AHEAD OF APPROACHING NOR'EASTER
NJ Gov. Phil Murphy declared a State of Emergency effective at 8 p.m. tonight, in preparation for a Nor’easter forecasted to impact the state with severe weather conditions starting tonight, Monday, October 25, through Wednesday.
The anticipated Nor’easter is forecasted to bring significant rain, flash flooding, coastal flooding, and strong winds leading to possible power outages. Residents are encouraged not to drive through flood waters and do not approach downed power lines. Area residents should visit the U.S. National Weather Service Philadelphia/Mount Holly at http://www.weather.gov/phi/ for more information.
