The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in central New Jersey... Southwestern Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Southwestern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Western Ocean County in southern New Jersey... Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 615 AM EDT.

* At 208 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Trenton, Ewing, Medford, Lumberton, Princeton, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Mount Holly, Tabernacle, Shamong, and Hightstown. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 5 and 8. Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 351 and 359. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 38 and 40. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 47 and 76. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 13. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 56 and 64.
