The Sheriff’s Office will be giving “Non”-Post Certified applicants the opportunity to attend Georgia’s Police Academy to become a Post-Certified Deputy Sheriff.
 
Please join us Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm to complete the entire first phase of the two-phase hiring process.
 
Those attending will complete some or all the following: Physical Agility Test, Orientation, Application, Background Booklet, and Oral interview.
 
The entire process typically can be completed within three hours. It is suggested you bring water and a snack. Part of this event will occur outside. Please bring a change of athletic gear for your agility test.
 
It is recommended prior to coming to the Sheriff’s Office, please submit an email to Sergeant Justin Robinson [email protected] with Background and Recruiting with your desired position.
 
Submit applications on our website at www.claytoncountyga.gov , an investigator will call you, walk-ins are welcomed, If you need a later time in the evening or weekend be detailed in your email.
