The victim in this incident has been identified as Zion Davis-Shelton of New Castle.

Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 8:07 p.m. Sunday in the unit block of West 27th Street.
Police located an 18-year-old male gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
