Two Convicted Felons Arrested for Willful Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition

INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Willful Discharge of a Firearm in a Gross Negligent Manner
LOCATION: 15000 Block of Sago Way, Apple Valley
SUSPECT(S): Arthur Glenn Felder, a 35-year-old Apple Valley resident
Armond Assante Felder, a 30-year-old Apple Valley resident
SUMMARY: On Thursday, October 21, 2021, deputies from the Apple Valley Station responded to the 15000 block of Sago Way in the Town of Apple Valley following a report of a subject shooting a firearm in front of an apartment complex.
Upon arrival, Deputy Loup determined two suspects, later identified as convicted felon Arthur Felder and convicted felon Armond Felder, were in possession of an AK 47 and ammunition. After further investigation, it was determined Arthur shot the AK 47 up into the air where children were playing.
Arthur was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for a felon in possession of a firearm, willful discharge of a firearm in a gross negligent manner, and a felon in possession of ammunition. Armond was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
