Armed Robbery
On October 21, 2021, at approximately 0745 AM, CCPD officers received a radio call of a robbery that just occurred in the area of Braddock Dr. and Sawtelle Blvd. Upon officer’s arrival, they met with the victim who stated that he was riding his bicycle on Sawtelle Blvd under the 405 freeway when he saw the suspect on a bicycle in front of him. As the victim continued to ride his bike southbound on Sawtelle Blvd, the suspect blocked his path and told the victim the bike belonged to his friend. The suspect then pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the victim and told him to walk the other way or he would shoot him. The victim, in fear for his life, gave the suspect the bicycle and walked northbound Sawtelle Blvd and out of the area.
The suspect rode his bicycle in tandem with the victim’s bicycle southbound Sawtelle Blvd and out of site.

Suspect #1: Male, Hispanic, approximately 47 years old, 5’8” medium build wearing a black hat, white t-shirt, and a grey sweater.
