Advisory

Police continue investigation of shooting. Victim and Suspect identified.

On 10/29/21, at approximately 2:45 PM, officers were sent to the 800 block of Center Avenue (near the bus transfer point) for a report of a male who had been shot.  Officers arrived and found Kilek Mack, 16, from Sheboygan had been shot multiple times.  Mack was transported from the scene to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital and later to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee where he died of his injuries.

The police investigation revealed Mack and a male juvenile suspect had gotten into a physical fight.  The suspect then shot the victim and fled the scene.  Police were able to later determine the identity of the suspect as Armani Jackson, 16, of Milwaukee.  Locations in Sheboygan and Milwaukee were checked and police continue to attempt to locate the suspect for outstanding homicide charges.  If anyone has information to his whereabouts, please don't attempt contact, but rather contact your local law enforcement agency.

The Sheboygan Police Department understands this is a tragic event and offers thoughts and prayers to the family of Kilek Mack and members of the community who were present.
