Pfizer Pediatric (5-11 YO) Clinic Nov 6 & 7. Appointments open at noon today

In partnership with the Bainbridge Island Fire Department, Bainbridge Prepares, and the Bainbridge Island Community Pharmacy, we will be holding a Pfizer pediatric COVID vaccination clinic for 5 to 11-year-olds only on Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7 at the Commodore Options Lower Gym. This clinic is strictly for 5 to 11-year-olds because they receive a lower dose of the Pfizer vaccination.

Appointments will open up at noon today at our Clinic Registration site.

If you are looking to book a booster appointment, we will have a booster clinic on Saturday, November 13. Appointments for that clinic will open on Monday, November 8 at noon.  You may also call the Bainbridge Island Community Pharmacy or book an appointment online with Walgreens, Safeway, or Rite Aid. A full list of providers in Kitsap is available online here: Local_COVID_Vaccine_Provider_List.pdf (kitsappublichealth.org)

The current guidance states that individuals are eligible for a booster if they are over 65, over 50 with certain health conditions, or 18 and over and have an occupational risk. If you meet this criteria, you may get your booster dose six months (second dose on or before May 13) after your second Pfizer or Moderna vaccination or two months (initial dose on or before September 13) after your Johnson and Johnson/Janssen vaccination.
