Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a 27 year old Hispanic woman at a motel in Claremont.
Claremont Police Department Officers responded to a gunshot victim call in a motel room in the 800 block of Indian Hill Boulevard at 1:40 am today. Upon arriving they discovered the victim unresponsive inside, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
It appears the victim’s injuries were self inflicted. A firearm was recovered. There is no further information at this time.
