Orton Road Bridge Cleanup 
WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- Essex County has hired a contractor to clean up storm debris from under the Orton Road bridge, according to the West Caldwell Police Department.
The work is scheduled to take place beginning Monday, Nov. 1 and continue through the week, except for Election Day.
To facilitate the work, Orton Road will be closed daily between Cascade Road and Midvale Avenue, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Detours will be in place and a police officer will be on site to assist with pedestrian traffic.
The Wilson School has been advised as well as the Caldwell/West Caldwell Board of Education bus transportation coordinator.
