INCIDENT: Possession and Display of Firearm in the Presence of a Peace Officer
LOCATION: 800 Block of R Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Brice Jackson, 35-years-old, resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 800 block of R Street reference a vandalism.
Deputies arrived on scene and attempted to contact Brice Jackson in a vehicle. Jackson brandished a handgun and was consequently arrested. Jackson was transported to the Colorado River Station, Needles jail and booked on the following charges: Penal Code 29800(a)(1) Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 417(c) Brandishing a Weapon or Firearm, and PC 30305(a)(1) Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
Jackson remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, awaiting a court hearing, with a bail amount of $85,000.00.
