INCIDENT: Vehicle Theft
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Clary Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Michael Dwyer, 42-year-old resident of Bullhead City, AZ
SUMMARY: On Sunday, October 31, 2021, at approximately 2:57 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted an area check near N. K Street and Smokestack reference a stolen vehicle in the area.
Deputies located the vehicle in the 1900 block of Clary Drive and conducted a traffic stop. A records check confirmed the vehicle was stolen and the driver, Michael Dwyer was detained. Through investigation, Dwyer was found to be in violation of CVC 10851, Vehicle Theft. Dwyer was consequently arrested and booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount of $100,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
