*CHECK YOUR HALLOWEEN CANDY--NEEDLE FOUND IN CANDY BAR* *UPDATE* 
On 11/01/21, the East Greenbush Police Departmrnt took a complaint from a 14-year old and his father reporting that on Halloween night he was trick or treating in the Sherwood Park area of town and that he received a "Fun Size Left Twix Candy Bar". The juvenile alleged that he bit into the candy bar the next day and that it contained a sewing needle that was placed inside by an unknown person.
After further investigation into the incident, it has been found that the juvenile made up the incident and stated he "...saw it on the social media app TikTok and thought it would be funny."
The juvenile has been arrested for falsely reporting an incident and was realeased to probation.
