2:07 PM: Officer Quinonez made contact and arrested a 34-year old male out of San Jose for a warrant in the area of Central Ave at the railroad tracks. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

12:40 AM: Officers responded to a report of an unresponsive subject in a vehicle. Officers made contact and arrested a 28-year old male out of Hayward for DUI. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:16 – 12:24 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated the theft of several vehicle license plates that occurred overnight.
2:56 PM: Officer Jackman investigated a theft of a catalytic converter that occurred overnight in the 35000 block of Lido Blvd.

3:32 PM: Officer Warren responded to a report of package theft in the 36000 block of Sycamore St. Officer Warren located the subject, a 36-year old male out of Newark, and recovered the package. A complaint was forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
6:57 PM: Officer Frentescu made contact and arrested a 47-year old male out of San Jose for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

11:31 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated a report of a burglary to vehicle in the 6000 block of Rockrose Pl. Loss was mail.
12:09 PM: Officer Warren investigated the theft of two catalytic converters in the 35000 block of Fircrest St that occurred overnight.
1:59 PM: Officers investigated three vehicle burglaries that occurred in the 39000 block of Mowry School Rd and 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd respectively. Loss was laptops and laptop bag.
2:00 PM: Officer Warren made contact and arrested a 58-year old male in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave for a warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
2:43 PM: Officer Warren made contact and arrested a 42-year male out of Newark in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave for multiple warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

1:52 AM: Officer Losier made contact and arrested a 22-year old female out of Fremont for DUI.
10:04 PM: Officer Riddles made contact with a 33-year old male and arrested him for vandalism, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

1:01 AM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Officer Kapu made contact with a 34-year old male and arrested him for being too inebriated to care for himself or others. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:19 AM:  Officer Rivera investigated the theft of a vehicle in the 6000 block of George Ave that occurred overnight.
8:22 AM: Officer Taylor investigated the theft of a catalytic converter in the 7000 block of Morton Ave that occurred within the last few days.
7:20 PM: Officers responded to a report of an in-progress residential burglary in the 39000 block of Tomcod St. Officers arrived on scene, set up a containment perimeter and announcements were made to no avail. Officers searched the residence, but the suspect(s) had fled prior to officer arrival. Incident is still under investigation.
8:25 PM: Offices Riddles responded to a subject in custody for shoplifting in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officer Riddles made contact and arrested a 43-year old male out of Hayward for theft, three felony warrants and three misdemeanor warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
9:08 PM:  Officer Herrera investigated a residential burglary that occurred 30 minutes prior to the call in the 5000 block of Jonathan Dr. Incident is still under investigation.

2:27 AM: Officer responded to a report of an in-progress burglary to a vehicle in the 7000 block of Mayhews Landing Rd. Upon arrival, the suspect, a 23-year old female, was inside of the victim vehicle. Officers formed a contact team to approach the vehicle and attempted to negotiate with the suspect for voluntary compliance. After several attempts, the suspect continued to refuse compliance and was ultimately removed from the vehicle. The victim declined prosecution for the original violation, therefore the suspect was solely arrested for obstructing a peace officer and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
3:55 PM:  Officer Jackman investigated a burglary to a vehicle that occurred in the 6000 block of Zulmida Ave. Loss was power tools.
5:11 PM: Officer Quinonez investigated a burglary to a vehicle in the 35000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was a leaf blower.

4:42 AM: Officers responded to a report of an in-progress burglary to a vehicle and battery that occurred in the 6000 block of Newpark Mall Rd. Officers made contact and arrested a 39-year old female for battery. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:10 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated the theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 8000 block of Peachtree Ave.
9:02 AM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated the theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 36000 block of Mulberry St.
10:29 AM: Officer Jackman investigated the theft of two catalytic converters in the 8000 block of Thornton Ave.
12:35 PM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a theft from an opened garage in the 8000 block of Cabana Way. Loss was a road bike.
1:02 PM: Community Service Officer Parks investigated a residential burglary that occurred over the weekend in the 37000 block of Saint Mary’s St.
3:01 PM: Officer Rivera investigated a theft in the 5000 block of Mowry School Rd. Loss was a tip jar.

3:15 AM: Officers made contact with a 21-year old male out of Fremont in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave. He was arrested for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
10:20 AM:  Officer Soto investigated the theft of three catalytic converters in the 37000 block of Filbert St.
12:14 PM: Officer Damewood made contact and arrested a 47-year old male out of Newark and a 36-year old male out of Hayward in the area of Olive St and Graham Ave for possession of burglary tools and for giving false identification to a police officer respectively. They were cited and released.
3:19 PM: Officer Kapu responded to a request for a civil standby in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct. Officer Kapu made contact with a 41-year old male and arrested him for a warrant. He was cited and released.

7:52 PM: Officer Slavazza made contact and arrested a 34-year old male in the area of Balentine Dr and Mowry School Rd for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

2:14 AM: Officer Slavazza made contact and arrested a 33-year old male in the 37000 block of Cedar Blvd for a felony warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
8:12 AM: Officer Rivera investigated the theft of a vehicle that occurred in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct.
10:14 AM: Officer Jackman investigated the theft of mailboxes in the 8000 block of Mahogany Pl.
10:17 AM: Officer Quinonez investigated the theft of two firearms in the 7000 block of Mowry Ave.
5:06 PM:  Officers responded to a report of 10 vehicles driving recklessly in the 38000 block of Birch St. Officers arrived in the area but were unable to locate the responsible vehicles. One associated truck was stopped nearby for a minor vehicle code violation and was advised of our 30-day impound program.

10:33 AM: Officer Jackman investigated the theft of a vehicle that occurred overnight in the 35000 block of Scarborough Dr.
11:52 AM: Officer Rivera investigated a theft from an unlocked vehicle in the 34000 block of Newark Blvd. Loss was sunglasses.
1:17 PM: Officer Pacheco investigated a cold grab-n-run theft in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd that occurred yesterday evening. Loss was approximately $300 worth of merchandise.
10:05 PM: Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary that just occurred in the 36000 block of Crystal Springs Ct. Incident is under investigation.
10:46 PM: Officers responded to a report of a battery that occurred in the 7000 block of Thornton Ave. Officers made contact and arrested a 50-year old male for an outstanding warrant. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

9:48 AM: Officer Taylor investigated a report of a battery in the 5000 block of Thornton Ave that occurred the prior day.
12:32 PM: Officers made contact and arrested a 35-year male for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited and released.
12:36 PM: Officer Quinonez investigated two vehicle burglaries that occurred in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd and the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd respectively. Loss was sunglasses.
1:59 PM: Officer Taylor investigated the theft of a purse that occurred in the 5000 block of Cedar Ct. Officers made contacted a 55-year old male out of Newark that was in possession of the purse. The subject was ultimately cited and released for appropriate lost property.
7:29 PM: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 37000 block of Sycamore St. Officers made contact and arrested a 30-year old male out of Oakland for a warrant. He was cited and released.

3:43 PM: Officer Johnson made contact and arrested a 54-year old male out of Newark in the area of Smith Ave and Manzanita St for two warrants. He was issued a new court date and released.
6:52 PM: Officers responded to investigate a report of a hit and run that occurred in the area of Ruschin Dr and Dalewood Dr. Officers made contact and arrested a 52-year old male for DUI.

10:20 PM: Officers made contact with a 35-year old male out of Hayward in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. He was arrested for false registration and an outstanding warrant. He was cited and released.

8:54 PM: Officer Slavazza made contact with two 29-year old males in the area of Balentine Dr and Mowry School Rd. Both were arrested for an outstanding felony warrant, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia respectively. They were cited and released.
9:26 PM: Officers responded to investigate a burglary to a vehicle that had just occurred in the 5000 block of Mowry Ave.

3:42 PM: Officers responded to investigate a report of a suspicious activity described as subjects looking into parked vehicles in the 3000 block of Newpark Mall Rd.  The subjects fled prior to officer arrival.
4:56 PM: Officers along with ALCO Fire responded to a report of a fire in the 200 block of Newpark Mall Rd. As ALCO Fire extinguished the fire, NPD made contact and arrested a 54-year old male for trespassing. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
9:46 PM: Officers made contact and arrested a 22-year old male for theft of personal property from a vehicle and vandalism. He was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

3:01 AM: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 5000 block of Abington Ct. Officer Torres made contact and arrested a 23-year old female for probation violation. She was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
6:24 AM: Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred in the 39000 block of Cedar Blvd. Incident is still under investigation.
8:48 AM: Officer Jackman investigated a cold burglary to a trailer in the 35000 block of Fircrest St that occurred in the within the last two weeks.
