Altice USA has begun a large fiber optic project throughout New Jersey which has arrived in Boonton and will span the entire town. While work is being conducted, crews may leave coned off fiber optic wire spools on the side of the roadway or slightly further off the roadway in the right of way. These spools will usually only be present for a day or so at a particular area as they pull wire and splice it together. Please also be cognizant of temporary detours and police traffic control assisting the installers.
