On Sunday, November 7, from approximately 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., the Go for the Grits 5K race will take place beachside on Jekyll Island.
The Beach Village will experience intermittent closures during this time for the following roads:
- Ocean Way through to the roundabout in front of the Convention Center
- Main St.
- Beachview Dr. near the Home2 Suites
- The bike paths near Corsair Beach Park & Beachview Dr.
Motorists may experience rolling traffic delays during this time. Bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution when sharing the paths with race participants and may also experience momentary delays.
