One Injured In Crash
 
 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 11/05/2021 at approximately 2340 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash near the intersection of M-51 and Warren Rd, in Howard Township, Cass County Michigan. 
 
Investigation shows that 20-year-old, Niles resident, Evan Omalley was traveling south bound on M-51, when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail, and landed on its side. Omalley was extricated from his vehicle by Howard Township Fire Department. Omalley was transported to Lakeland Niles Hospital for injuries sustained during the accident.
 
Seatbelts were worn and alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash. Assisting in this crash was Howard Twp Fire, SMCAS, and Michigan State Police.
