Sonora High School update 
At about 7:30 this morning local law-enforcement agencies assisted our local school district with making sure our High School was safe for regular school activities. Law-enforcement agencies that assisted with this included the Sonora Police Department, Sutton County sheriffs office, FBI, Texas Rangers, Texas DPS, Midland police department and Midland District Attorney's Office. The Sonora Police Department is reporting now that the school has been deemed safe for our teaching staff and students. School superintendent is reporting that school will start at 10 AM.
We would like to thank the District Attorney Laurie English, Sonora volunteer fire department and the Sutton County EMS for their assistance.
