Traffic Advisory: A power outage has occurred early this morning due to a blown transformer. The general area of the outage is on E.17th St. between Newport Blvd. and Santa Ana Ave. south to 15th St. and north to 19th St. Officers are monitoring traffic at intersections along E.17th St. and have placed stop signs in the area. So.Cal Edison was notified, sent a crew out, and advised the power would likely be out through the early afternoon. Please find an alternate route and avoid the area.
