Deputies in Needles Arrest Neil Hernandez for Attempted Murder After a Fight Leads to a Stabbing

LOCATION: 1800 Block of Davidson Lane, Needles, CA.
SUSPECT(S): Neil Hernandez, 33-years-old, resident of Needles, CA.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at approximately 7:30 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department were dispatched to a fight at a residence in the 1800 block of Davidson Lane in the city of Needles, California.
Deputies arrived on scene and located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim lost a significant amount of blood and had to be transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Neil Hernandez, was contacted during the investigation and taken into custody without incident. Hernandez was interviewed and subsequently arrested for PC 664/187; attempted murder. He was booked into the Colorado River Station jail with a bail amount set at $1,000,000, pending a court hearing.
