Winter Parking Begins December 1st. Remember the simple rule; park for tomorrow!
The city’s winter parking rules are in place to improve efficiency in clearing streets from snow, ice and debris all winter. From December 1st through April 30th, overnight winter parking regulations are in effect between the hours of midnight and 6:00 AM. Vehicles must alternate sides for overnight parking.
On Odd Numbered Days: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m., vehicles shall only be parked on that side of the street having odd-numbered street addresses. (East and South Sides)
On Even-Numbered Days: Between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00 a.m., vehicles shall only be parked on that side of the street having even-numbered street addresses. (North and West Sides)
Streets posted with “No Parking,” restrictions shall remain in effect; therefore are NOT under alternate side parking rules.
***The simple rule: PARK FOR TOMORROW***
We appreciate everyone’s help in allowing us to prevent dangerous or slippery conditions for drivers and pedestrians, to keep gutters and drains clear for the spring thaw, and to maintain and repair pavement after the harsh winter season.
