Two Suspects Arrested After an Altercation Leads to a Stabbing; Victim Pronounced Deceased

DATE/TIME: November 10, 2021 / 11:32 p.m.

INCIDENT: PC 187 - Murder

LOCATION: 7900 Block of Haven Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga

VICTIM:        Pending Next of Kin Notification

SUSPECT: Alexis Hernandez, 25-years-old of Rancho Cucamonga
Jose Hernandez, 25-years-old of Rancho Cucamonga


SUMMARY:   On Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 11:32 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Station responded to a call regarding a stabbing that occurred at a bowling alley on Haven Avenue.  

When deputies arrived, they found the victim inside the bowling alley with a stab wound.  Rescue personnel arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim deceased.  

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Specialized Investigation’s Homicide Detail also responded and assumed the investigation.  Detectives learned the suspects, Alexis Hernandez and Jose Hernandez, were in a physical altercation with the victim when the stabbing occurred.  

Alexis and Jose were arrested and booked in at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino where they remain in custody without bail.
