Chief Robert Noble of the Yorktown Police Department advises motorists that on Sunday November 14, 2021 at 2:00PM the Yorktown Citizens Veterans Day Committee will be commemorating Veterans Day with a parade and ceremony. The parade will begin at Lakeland High School and continue on East Main Street to the Lakeland Administration Building grounds, where there will be a ceremony at the Shrub Oak Veterans Monument.
 
To provide for safety of parade participants and spectators the following roadways will be closed temporarily to accommodate this event:
 

1.   East Main Street from the Lakeland High School to Sunnyside Street

                                                       
    2.   Stoney Street at East Main Street 
 
3.   Stonegate Road at East Main Street
 
    4.    New Road (east end) at East Main Street
 
    5.    Dane Street at East Main Street
 

6. Frost Road at East Main Street
