* WHAT...Snow showers expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Accumulations may vary greatly over short distances due to the showery nature of the snow.

* WHERE...Elfin Cove, Pelican, Juneau

* WHEN...From 9 PM Wednesday to 9 PM AKST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers are expected to develop Wednesday night through Thursday night. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible under the heaviest showers. Highest snow totals likely near Pelican, Downtown Juneau, and Douglas. Snow accumulations may greatly vary over short distances.
