Bagged Leaf Program and Yard Waste Collection Extending 2 Weeks
In addition, Groot will also collect yard waste WITH a sticker through this same time period on your regularly scheduled pick-up day. As a reminder, Groot will be offering 2 free weeks of yard waste pick-up in April.
This extension will help residents with options to remove leaves as the Village’s curbside leaf program ends next week on the west side. Regarding the curbside collection, a gentle reminder that leaves are to be raked to the curb in the parkway and NOT put in the street by 6am Monday morning.
Please also remember to not include grass clippings or other yard waste with leaves as otherwise those bags will require stickers.

Due to the fact there are quite a number of trees in the Village that are holding tight to their leaves, Groot is extending the free bagged leaf program for two additional weeks. Those weeks include:
- Week of December 6
- Week of December 13
