Burn site in Minneota closed. New burn site on County Road 3. 
Update on Minneota tree burn site -
The older burn site in Minneota, which you have been using for years, is now closed. The new burn site is on County Road 3 one mile north of Minneota. This new burn site is for the residence of Minneota, Ghent, and Taunton and is ONLY for trees, tree trimmings, or brush. THIS SITE WILL BE MONITORED AND VIOLATIONS WILL BE PROSECUTED WITHOUT WARNINGS ISSUED. ---- NO GARBAGE, NO STUMPS, NO LUMBER, NO FURNITURE, NO REMODELING, NO LEAVES OR COMPOST, NO CONCRETE OR ROCK OR ASPHALT, OR ANY OTHER NON TREE OR BRUSH MATERIAL WILL BE DUMPED AT THE NEW SITE.
The older location is barricaded and closed. Trespassing violations will be prosecuted. The upper section of the older site will remain open for leaves and compost. IF you have any questions please call me at 507-360-7864.
