#LASD MCB Investigators are Seeking the Public's Assistance in Locating the Suspects/Victims of a Kidnapping, #Sylmar
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Major Crimes Bureau - Metro Detail investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect/victims of a Kidnapping (parental abduction).
The abduction occurred on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at approximately 5:25 p.m. from Olive View Medical Center located at 14445 Olive View Drive in the city of Sylmar.
Angela Doroteo is a Female Hispanic, 42 years of age, and a resident of Van Nuys. She is the biological mother of the two children but previously lost her parental rights. She and an unknown male adult took her two children by force as their foster mother was taking them to a doctor’s appointment at Olive View Medical Center.
Doroteo physically assaulted the foster mother by pushing her to the ground. Doroteo and the unknown male pulled the children out of the vehicle, placed them in a dark gray Chevrolet Malibu, and fled the scene. That vehicle was recovered a short time later not far from the crime scene.
Major Crimes Bureau- Metro Detail investigators conducted an exhaustive search but the children and suspects were not found.
It is believed they may be headed to Mexico
