* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 9 to 11 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. Visibility reductions to one half mile.
* WHERE...Thompson Pass.
* WHEN...From 3 AM Sunday to 5 AM AKST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow is expected to begin late Saturday night and persist through early Monday morning. Snow is expected to be fine, powdery, and easily transportable. Falling and blowing snow may reduce visibilities to one half mile at times. Visibilities may worsen in the wake of other vehicles. Road conditions will be slippery, use caution when driving.
