Today, November 21, 2021, the Gilroy Police Department will be performing upgrades to our Information Technology (IT) systems. The upgrades will enhance our ability to maintain a seamless response during power outages or other power related emergencies. Santa Clara County Communications will assist during the upgrades to ensure normal emergency operations. It is expected it will take between 6 to 8 hours to complete the work.
Although our emergency response will not be affected, we encourage our citizens to use our online reporting system for non-emergency incidents where there is no identifying suspect information. To file an online report, go to:
